Ayuda con SDSME

Buenas, tengo un problema al tratar de abrir una ROM española de Pokemon HeartGold en SDSME. Si bien en mi PC con Windows 8.1 funciona, al pasarlo a mi portátil con Windows XP me dice que hay una excepción y que debo continuar o salir sin poder editar nada. Os paso los detalles:

¿Sería alguien amable de explicar que pasa? He probado con el 1.8.1 y el 1.7.0, sin éxito.

Asegurate de tener .NET Framework 4 instalado.

Lo instalé ayer. Es mas, antes no abría y ahora sí, pero no carga ROMS

Actualizo:
He instalado las actualizaciones del .net framework 4
Sin éxito
Y en XP funciona porque Trifindo usó en un vídeo WinXP con SDSME
