Hacking Vs RPG Maker XP

Hi everyone, I am new to hacking and I have a rather important question (well, it seems important...), sorry if this extremely noobish.


What is the exact difference between hacking and this RPG Maker XP? I've heard on some other site forums that it's easier, this and that. But I wanted to ask the people I trust (that's you guys! )


So, is it faster than hacking, easier? I don't really know, I've been experimenting with the hacking tools I got from here, I'm just wondering the difference.

Well let me say that the RH or as you say piracy is easier in some ways as you save the programming but instead the Rpg starting from scratch as you like the most complicated in the RH is the scripting or creation of events that has specific characteristics and qualities of each direction but this have the manuals here in WAH of the RH but the RPG is a little more complicated and less support in order is a matter of taste.

Nah, its not noobish.


The first difference:

RPG Maker: The only limit its your PC xD

Rom Hacking: The GBA Console its the limit (Limit with colors, empty space, processed data, etc)

In RPG Maker, make things can be a little more complicated, in some ways, but, for example, mapping, its a lot more easy.

Let's go to the point:

RPG Maker: Create

Rom Hacking: Edit (98%) Create (3%) * Create in Rom Hacking its a lot more dificult, cause you have to learn "ASM" the language of the GBA processor :/
