  • Yes, but you already have there the .ini file that you must add, I suppose it'll work, but I couldn't tell you since I don't use that base.
Hm.. wait a second, you're right, I totally forgot, that's the flag for the 1st badge in Fire Red. Weird, maybe you screwed up somewhere else, because enabling it shouldn't be making Bad Eggs, it should simply give you the 1st badge.
In Fire Red, that flag is used by the Old Man in Viridian who gives you the Teachy TV, apparently:

    Source.

If it's not an empty flag, you shouldn't use it.
I'm having a problem, any trainer that I put in the game to the 068 is bugging the game I already did test with other code also happens the same, what changed these days was to put a code to increase shiny in the game, know what can be this bug?
You can always use a countpokemon.

    countpokemon
    compare LASTRESULT 0x2
    if 0x1 goto @cant

    #org @cant
    msgbox @cannot 0x6
    end

    #org @cannot
= You have more than 3 Pokémon.\nCome back later.
You have to set whatever variable he used to enable your rival to Mega Evolve, to the value of whatever item acts as the Keystone.
Versekr made the patch, so he's the only one who would know those kinda details.
I honestly never gave those a try.
Look at some of the move tutors in Pokémon Emerald and try to replicate those scripts, modifying stuff as you see fit.
    A NPC without even a script or a set flag? I don't know but I don't think that's normal.
A NPC shouldn't disappear unless you give it a flag and use a hidesprite on the NPC's script.
