I've had rpg maker for about a year and a half but only used it for a few months. I guess the only thing I would need to learn is scripting,asm and spriting. It's just... spriting and mapping, UGH, I'm not good at those things. I have the ideas but not the will power to put the imagination there.

No, I haven't seen it yet:O And I don't really mind which I use, rpg maker or a rom hack. As long as I can make the game, then I'm good. But alas, I prefer rpg maker. The possibilities of making something different are higher and easier. The only problem is the credits, they will always be long because you need a lot of stuff.

Ah, xvaporeon's userbars are really awesome. All tho yeah, you should wait a bit more. And well, I can only help you if it was rpg maker:/ I can pretty much do everything except map, asm and script. Eventing and scripting are two different things. Eventing doesn't always require script but it's easy. Scripts are mostly used to add new mechanics or do certain actions that the program does not include.

I'm kinda the same right now. No helpers and really need to start mapping. When it comes to map, I have great ideas on imagining how it is. However, doing the actual map,well.. I suck xD Right now I have all the Outdoor tiles I need inserted. And good lord, the list of credits is huge and I still haven't added stuff like pokemon rips,backgrounds,sprites and all that stuff. It will be a huge credit list, I'll give you that.

The idea you gave before is great, but it's difficult to make like an international forum, if PokeCommuntiy already exists. Anyway if you understand what I've posted right before, I think that would be better.
Just a section of the forum for non-Spanish speaking people, so they can talk in their own language.
I hope this to become true, because it would be great for the forum
